Masterplan —Sustainability Design Lead

As the sustainability design lead on an urban masterplan, Jessie’s role focused on integrating environmental strategies into the design. This included optimizing modular layouts for resource efficiency, conducting sun, wind, and shadow analyses to enhance energy performance and comfort.

In collaboration with Cambridge university we produced a bespoke piece of coded 3D software, looking into parametric methods for concrete pouring. Specifically looking at a hexagonal grid to form the based from groin vault. The final outcome of the research project saw myself completing the script, and transitioning the digital piece to physical, via 3D printing the project.

Grosvenor Square Gardens project saw Jessie working on what was to be a new underground wonder of London in collaboration with David Attenborough, the subterranean space was to encapsulate the world and voice climate change in a positive manner. —Covid meant funding for the project was halted.

Landmark Pinnacle, Canary Wharf —RIBA Stages 4-5
Landmark Pinnacle is a 75-storey tower located in a prime position at the western end of Canary Wharf. Measuring 239 metres, the development for Chalegrove Properties Limited is the UK’s tallest residential tower and brings housing provision to one of the world’s biggest financial districts.
